The name Haslinger has been known for over 50 years as a metal construction family, which now has
160 employees. We do not need to tell you that qualities like tradition, flexibility, reliability experience, inventive spirit and a high level of loyalty of our employees to the company characterise us. As soon as you come to our factory in Uttigkofen/Aldersbach in Lower Bavaria, you will know what difference
the advantages of an efficient family company can make.

Energy concept: our own supply+ savings

We are not just talking about environmental protection, we are doing something. Our environmental concept consists in concrete terms of continuously investing in the most modern environmental technology and at the same time continually reducing our relative energy requirements.

2002: Photovoltaic-system with 48 kWp
on the roof of what was then the only production hall

Extension up to 2014 with 7 more PV systems
on the new roofs of the new production halls

Total power in 2014: 741 kWp | Total gain in 2014: 720,000 kWh
= approx. 75% of the total energy requirement of nearly 1 million kWh

80% Feed-in of our own solar electricity for direct use in the factory
(welding devices, large appliances)

Organisation of parallel shifts for efficient use of sunlight;
Shifting of energy-intensive processes to times of maximum sunlight yield, including weekends

conversion of the complete hall lighting to LED
(savings potential: 216,000 kWh)

Investment in energy-efficient, frequency-controlled machines

Purchase of remaining electricity from the grid from 100% hydro-electric energy

End 2013: 3 new wood-chip furnaces, ensuring the heating of the powder-coating and heating supply to the halls. One of these is a 400 kW furnace unique in Germany, which supplies hot air to the powder coating furnace.

Planting of a 6-hectare area with fast-growing poplars (6-year harvest cycle)

2013: Shredder for cutting old wood, pallets, and packaging materials small enough for the furnace

2012: Investment in 2 electric vehicles (Renault Kangoo zero, Renault Tweedy) with a total of 25,000 km annual range and a saving of 3300 l of diesel
