PROSYSTEM® ALUMINIUM SMALL CRANE SYSTEM

PROSYSTEM® ALUMINIUM small crane system

The new aluminium small crane system by Erikkila is the most modern workshop crane system in the world. Its unique safety functions ensure safety when it matters.

Important components in the aluminium system, such as the mountings are identical in different models. This means the crane is easy to configure and install.

The PROSYSTEM® Aluminium-small crane system is the more intelligent alternative with built-in safety. The illustration shows why.

ALUMINIUM-SMALL CRANE SYSTEM

1. Unique labelling strip

  • for easier identification of the profile
  • Fixing strip for accessories

2. Internal current rail

  • compact 5-pole construction for 32-A-current supply
  • 6-A-current pick-up
  • Modular current rail system
  • compact current collector for unrestricted movement of the bogie
  • Cable conduit from current collector through the bogie

3. Safeguard cable (Optional)

  • Integrated design
  • Cable route below the two running surfaces
  • Wires are fixed to the end plates
  • for even greater safety if an aluminium system potentially has to withstand changes or being unexpectedly overloaded

4. Rotatable bogie mounting

  • flexible rotatable mounting for smooth bridges
  • withstands forces directed upwards
  • similar PROSYSTEM® components
  • Only one bogie type required
  • can be turned 90° if needed (telescopic crane)

5. Bogie

  • only one bogie type with various functional features
  • max. load 600 kg
  • Steel bogie
  • integrated components for additional functions
  • integrated cable conduits for current collectors
  • can withstand forces directed upwards

6. Mountings

  • Extensive range of PROSYSTEM® mountings

7. Connection

  • two connecting plates each side
  • only one connection type required
  • fast and safe installation

8. End plate

  • functions as a stopper at the ends
  • - Bolt stopper optionally available
  • - Adjustable stopper optionally available
  • for fixing the security cable

Profile

A big plus point for the ERIKKILA aluminium profile is its intelligent profile geometry. The important PROSYSTEM® components can be used in all aluminium profiles. The system is thus flexible and can be used cost-effectively.

The unique labelling stripes on the profile sides make identification of the profiles and installation of accessories easier.

BOGIE

Elegant and beautiful: The black varnished steel bogie is suitable for loads up to 600 kg

Absolutely safe: The eight rollers are arranged so that the bogie cannot move up or down under any circumstances. There are four rollers on each side of the bogie of which two are in contact with the underside and two with the top side of the profile.

Additional safety: The bogie can also be secured with an optional safety cable running below the bogie running area. The safety cable then gives additional safety if an aluminium system is in permanent use and might be exposed to unexpected overloads or changes.

INTEGRATED POWER RAILS

The power rails are integrated in the profile in the Erikkila alu-system. The 16A-current collector is placed on the bogie and allows it unrestricted movement. The power supply is located in the modular end plate. The power-rail has a compact 5-pole construction. A 32A feed is also possible without any problems.

1. 1. Current collector (16A)

2. 2. Bogie

3. 3. End plate

4. Power rail (32A)

The integrated power rail can also be offered as an option in the Erikkila steel system!

COMBINATION OF STEEL AND ALUMINIUM SYSTEM

Advantage of the steel system: The load capacity of the steel profile is greater than the aluminium profiles

Advantage of the aluminium system: Aluminium profiles have a lower tare weight and are easier to move than steel.

To exploit the advantages of both systems, it is possible to combine them.

Steel rails in combination with aluminium bridges enable greater mounting intervals and thereby offer easier handling when transporting loads due to the weight advantage of aluminium.

Steel bridges in combination with aluminium rails enable much greater span widths than with aluminium.
