Energy event at the Haslinger factory

18.07.2014 - Uttigkofen is on the schedule of many politicians and environmental exerts in July. In a well-attended energy day, the companies showed how even energy-intensive factories in the metal sector can achieve a positive CO2 balance sheet.

The metal construction company Karl Haslinger is all for generating its own electricity and heat. Together with the photovoltaic system and various measures for saving electricity (LED lights, energy-saving machines) a wood-chip heating system using fuel from the company's own woodland supplies heating for the powder coating and heating the factory building. 2 electric vehicles also contribute to CO2 production in manufacture not just being neutral, but an additional quantity of around 80 tonnes of CO2 being saved annually (seeCO2-balance 2014)

The press reported extensively on this event. We would like to thank all participants and we are grateful for the positive resonance.
