1st Health Day at the Haslinger Group of Companies

In July 2015, the Haslinger company organised its first health day for the entire workforce. The variety of things on offer included something for every taste. As partners, the Haslinger company found AOK and the Wittelsbacher chemist from Passau and Zweirad Würdinger from Vilshofen. The employees were able to put their knowledge and ability to the test in the various stations connected to the subject of health. One very interesting thing on offer for many participants was Zweirad Würdinger's cycle-leasing. In the AOK load triathlon, employees were shown using everyday work situations how lifting, moving and carrying can be carried out in a way that protects the back and given the chance to try it out in practice. The employees could also have their personal vitamin D values, blood sugar levels and blood pressure measured by Mr. Lindinger and his assistant from the Wittelsbacher chemist in Passau. Healthy replenishment was of course also provided. Many were surprised that healthy food can also be delicious, as they enjoyed home-baked bread, spreads and muesli bars and smoothies. Freshly replete, they could then pick up the bats to test their skills playing table tennis. It was important for the organisers of the health day that they could leave their everyday working life behind for 2 hours to familiarise themselves with all the aspects of health in a relaxed manner. Several courses were offered for the future so that the health day does not just become a one-off event. Some employees have already made some resolutions and will take part in a quit-smoking course shortly. For the Management, it was clear by the end of the day that the success of the first health day will of course be built upon next year.
